Go straight to the evidence.
Every update is written from official platform publications and links to them. Nothing is published from a rumour, a reseller summary or a social post.
What we read
Google Ads and Meta Ads are our core. They carry most of the paid-media spend our readers manage, and every review starts with them. ChatGPT Ads is covered as an emerging channel.
- Google Ads: the Google Ads & Commerce blog and Google Ads Help announcements and feature documentation.
- Meta Ads: Meta for Business announcements and the Meta Newsroom, including regional editions when a release is published there first. The newsroom also carries corporate, consumer and hardware news; we only cover what changes something for advertisers.
- ChatGPT Ads: OpenAI announcements and the OpenAI Ads Help Center, including its availability tables.
More platforms are added when we can read their official channels reliably and have verified coverage to publish.
How an update is selected
We cover changes that alter what advertisers can do, measure, access or must comply with: campaign settings, creative requirements, measurement, eligibility, deadlines and account workflows. We leave out developer-only releases, tutorials, podcasts, case studies and general company news. Selection is manual and curated; this is not an exhaustive inventory of every post a platform publishes.
How an update is checked
Each brief states what the official source confirms, where the feature is available, who is affected and what remains unknown. Tests, betas, staged rollouts and general availability are labelled separately. Suggested checks are marked as editorial guidance; we do not imply we tested an account or that advice is a platform requirement. Drafting uses AI assistance, and every claim is checked against the linked source before publication.
Dates
The announcement date, our publication date and the last verification date are shown separately. An older announcement is never presented as a new release.
Corrections
Updates keep their original address and a visible history of what changed. See the correction policy for how to report an error.
